Writing About Our Generation

  • For decades I used to stuff a small note pad into my back pocket each day before I left the house. My memory has never been great. So if an idea struck. I would write it down.

Now much of the time I fail even to carry a pen. Ideas still strike, albeit with somewhat diminished frequency. But now I’m reduced to pecking them out with one finger in “Notes” on my cell phone.

I miss paper.
